For those who don't know, we met in most classically romantic way - on an app. Ahh, modern day romance! But, boy, did we get lucky.

Joseph was on the app searching for far too long for his dream girl, dealing with nightmare dates and the constant temptation to either give up or settle. Alex hopped on the app hoping to try her hand at some casual dating again, ya know, just for fun. On a California summer day in early August, Joseph clicked 'like' on a photo of Alex pointing to NYC on the Brooklyn bridge and thus clicked 'like' on her heart.

Our first date was Homestate.

Our second date was Alex's birthday (Joseph is a brave man, we know this).

Two months later, we were traveling across the country together to see Nate Bargatze.

Everything felt natural. Easy. Comfortable. Our families even felt like each others families from the first moment we met them.
